Free rabies clinics this week

The annual campaign against the deadly disease continues.

THE Department of Agriculture’s annual anti-rabies campaign started this week with the first clinics taking place in the Port Edward, Glenmore, Munster and Marina Beach areas.

This week, clinics take place as follows:

* Wednesday, February 3 – Seventh Heaven Superette from 8.30am to 10.30am; Marina Beach Library from 11am to 12.30pm; Impenjathi Town Board office from 1pm to 1.30pm.

* Thursday, February 4 – Ramsgate beach parking from 8.30am to noon; Mzimele Centre, Margate Ext 3 from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.

* Friday, February 5 – Margate Hibiscus Mall from 8.30am to noon; SPCA Uvongo from 1pm to 2.30pm.

* Monday, February 8 – Uvongo Civic Centre from 8. 30am to 11.30am; Shelly Beach Library and clinic from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.

* Tuesday, February 9 – Old state vet office in Oslo Beach from 8.30am to 11.30am; Port Shepstone borough grounds from noon to 2.30pm.

* Wednesday, February 10 – White City Hall, Albersville from 8.30am to 11.30am; Woodpecker cul de sac, Palm View from noon to 1.30pm.

* Thursday, February 11 – Singh’s Store, Lions Grove from 8.30am to 11.30am; Solly’s Store, Lion’s Grove from noon to 1.30pm.

* Friday, February 12 – Marburg Library 8.30am to noon; Merlewood Youth Centre 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
