Village Eagles enjoy fantastic golf at Umdoni Park

The Umdoni Park Golf Course was the venue for the Village Eagles game on June 7.
There were 60 Eagles in attendance. It was the perfect winter morning, with a cool start, and then fantastic weather for golf. The golf course was in immaculate condition. The lost ball count was 119, with the closest guess from Sarie Hall.
A special thanks goes to the staff of Umdoni Park for the privilege of competing on the course. Another special thanks to Pam in the pro shop for registering the golfers.

Best lady was Terry Bacchus on 42 individual points and John Watkins won the men’s prize on 43 points.
The winners on the day were Mervyn Perry, Robin Melville, John Watkins and Gerry Eliot on an alliance score of 93 points.
The longest day and collecting the Stones Trophy were Peter Braithwaite, Ron Clark, Billy Smith and Vicky Wilkinson on 75 points.

The results were calculated by Stan Sim and Pat White.
Eddie Mathews presented the results and this was entertaining as usual. Derek Hodge presented the fines, and all present were more than happy to pay their fine/s!
The next game will be held at Scottburgh Golf Club on July 7. See you all there.
