The new manager said shoppers could expect many exciting developments.

MEET the woman who is super focused on putting the Hibiscus Mall on the map.

Alice Brandsma, the new manager of the mall, wants everyone to know about Margate’s shopping hot spot.

“I want to make sure both the tenants and the customers are happy,” she said.

Ms Brandsma said the mall is geared towards becoming more family focused and that customers can expect many new exciting events and developments in the future.

“I encourage customers to join our Hibiscus Mall  facebook page, to keep up with what’s happening at the mall, including their facebook pageants,” she said.

Ms Brandsma has lived on the coast for some 31 odd years and worked in property for more than 20 years.

With her years of experience in management and diplomas in property management Ms Brandsma believes she has a lot to bring to the mall.

She is currently completing her BCom in management and industrial psychology.

“I am a friendly person and am happy to help anyone who needs assistance. I like a sense of community and it’s important that people feel that at the mall,” she added.

She welcomed everyone to the mall and hoped to meet those whom she hadn’t yet met.
