Art-in-the-Park in Uvongo continues to grow in popularity

The next Art in the Park will take place on Saturday, July 4, from 09:00 to 13:00.

The June edition of Art-in-the-Park in Uvongo drew another enthusiastic crowd, with artists and visitors alike.

Held in the park between the central Uvongo robots and the Uvongo River bridge, the monthly gathering has become a popular fixture on the South Coast calendar, providing a platform for local artists to showcase their work while engaging directly with the public.

Founder Johann du Toit said the interaction between artists and visitors once again proved that this event has earned its rightful place on the South Coast activities calendar.

The ever-growing number of visitors is a clear affirmation of its popularity and appeal.

“A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it another memorable morning of art, creativity, and community spirit,” said Johann.

The next event will take place on Saturday, July 4, from 09:00 to 13:00.

Residents and visitors are invited to browse a variety of artworks, meet local artists and enjoy a relaxed morning in one of the South Coast’s most scenic settings.
