Catch all the aviation action this weekend

Some of South Africa’s best aviation specialists are taking part in the show.

IF you are anywhere near Margate Airport this Saturday, December 10, keep your eyes on the skies as that is when this year’s much anticipated ICAD Margate Air Show is taking place.

Some of South Africa’s best aviation specialists are taking part in the show, as well as the South African Air Force (SAAF) and the South African Police Services (SAPS). The line-up includes the Impala jets, the SAAF Silver Falcons, microlight and gyrocopter fly-pasts, a vintage Tiger Moth, the Flying Lions Aerobatic Formation, the SAPS Task Force parachute and capability demonstration and the AN2 Skydivers.

Bring your family and friends to watch the exhilarating aviation action. Entrance is free. Bring deck chairs, sun lotion and cameras and sit back and watch the skies.

Please note that no alcohol will be allowed on the airport premises. However bar facilities will be available at the Margate Light Plane Club. If you feel peckish you can fill up on boerewors rolls or vetkoek.
