Both Ray Nkonyeni and Umdoni municipalities have managed to pay their water accounts after Ugu had cut off their water supply last week.

According to Ugu, Umdoni Municipality had settled its R1.3-million debt in full while RNM paid only R2.6 million of the outstanding R8-million.
RNM’s outstanding debt is due at the end of February 2018.
Both municipalities were reconnected immediately after their payments were received by Ugu.
