An Ann Arbor Road, Scottburgh South, resident arrived home on Monday to find that his house had been burgled.
It is believed that entry had been gained into the premises by forcing open a door.

“He was away from home when he was contacted and informed by his security company that his house had been burgled,” said Scottburgh SAPS communications officer, Captain Vincent Pandarum.
When the owner arrived at the house, he found everything in disarray.
The burglary is said to have occurred between 7am and 12.24pm.

The Scottburgh SAPS have registered a case of housebreaking for investigation. At this stage, it still has to be established what exactly was taken by the burglars.
