ALERT policemen last week Wednesday apprehended a suspected drug dealer who has since appeared in court.
Scottburgh police had been monitoring Lindelani Innocent Mbambo at the Scottburgh taxi rank when they spotted him allegedly selling drugs to people.
Mbambo became aware of the police’s presence and attempted to flee.

“The policemen gave chase and arrested Mbambo. On searching him, they recovered four capsules of heroin,” said Scottburgh SAPS communications officer, Captain Vincent Pandarum.
Mbambo will remain in custody until his next appearance.
