Athlete Salma Beija does Creston proud

She flew to Cape Town to compete in the SASA National Primary Schools Track and Field Championships.

The school is proud of grade 6 pupil, Salma Beija who flew to Cape Town to attend the opening ceremony and to compete in the SASA National Primary Schools Track and Field Championships last Friday. Unfortunately, Salma suffered a sprained ankle in her first heat and had to withdraw.

The grade 7 Leadership Camp took place recently. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed a number of challenging activities such as abseiling, rock climbing, canoeing and raft building.

Last week, 98 college phase pupils wrote the Maths Olympiad.

The senior primary will be hosting a workshop on Saturday, April 21 and if members of the community would like to advertise businesses or sponsor products, please contact marketing@crestoncollege.co.za
