Chairman of the organisation, Cookie Basudeo, told the Herald that her volunteers made the children’s mealtime more enjoyable by chatting and spending time with them. “At Touched by an Angel, we believe that a chance at a better life begins with a full stomach, which is why we’re committed to feeding the hearts, minds and tummies of many people from various organisations,” explained Cookie.

She pointed out that her organisation was created to lift the spirit of our nation. “A nation of people who care deeply for one another and the environment in which they live is good for everyone.”
