Local dancers to compete in world dance masters in UK

The group is set to jet off in August.

Placing the South Coast on the map in dancing is a huge achievement for local dance group ‘Dance Inline Studio’.

The group recently competed in the South African Masters Championship at the Amanzimtoti Civic Centre.

Fourteen dancers together with coach Noel Roos, were judged by two international judges and one South African judge.

The team took the top five positions in different categories; six dances placed first, one second, four placed third, five placed fourth and one placed sixth. Now 13 dancers will be travelling to Blackpool in the United Kingdom in August to take part in the World Dance Masters.

Mantie Venter said the group is extremely excited and can’t wait to attend the World Dance Masters.
