Wild Coast Sun fishing compo was bags of fun
The competition saw many anglers from as far field as Durban flocking to the beach.
The excitement was palpable at the Wild Coast Sun Hotel and Casino Resort’s fishing tournament last Saturday. With R10 000 and other awesome prizes up for grabs, the long-awaited competition saw many anglers from as far field as Durban join in the fun.

Mawande Genu, public relations and promotions coordinator at the Wild Coast Sun Hotel and Casino Resort, said that they are very grateful to everyone who took part. “The day was absolutely brilliant. It’s always hard work, with all the preparation that goes into the day, but it is all worth it. We had such a great time on the day. We couldn’t do it without the support of the community and the local fishermen,”
The winners were Dean Pretorius (edible category ) and Prenelan Subrayen (non-edible category). Each angler won R5 000.
