All business for winning golf team

The winners were Kim Strauss, Jennifer Duncan, Yzelle Greyling and Cecelia Verster.

The May business day at Port Shepstone Country Club, sponsored by Makmoer, was won by Kim Strauss, Jennifer Duncan, Yzelle Greyling and Cecelia Verster on 90 points.

Runners-up were Org Nieuwoudt, Dawid Moller, Don Richards and Sandile Mbili on 89 points.

In third place were Eddie Ringo, Allan Clark, Terry McGovern and Doug Trevarthan on 87 points.

The Wednesday competition was won by Terry Kotze on 39 points, counting out Morris Moodley.

In third place was Lionel Peters on 38 points, with Ken Morris and Fanie Terblanche next on 37 points.

Theo van Rooyen had 36 points, with Allan Rowley next on 35 points.

The Hibiscus Coast Electrical Fowl Friday was won by Jennifer Duncan on 18 points.

Five players had 17 points, namely Vernon Albrecht, Dawid Moller, Jenny Hulley, Theo van Rooyen and Don Richards.

Saturday’s golf was won by Theo van Rooyen and Paul Bunge on 42 points, counting out Chris Boyce and Mark Smith.

In third place on 39 points were Morris Moodley and Sbu Ntozakhe, counting out Howard Crouch and Goose Goosen. Paul Bunge won the previous week’s monthly mug on nett 71, with Ilse Steyn winning the ladies’ section on nett 68.

Division honours went to Gavin van Wyk (A – nett 73), Albert dos Santos (B – nett 74) and Chris Boyce (C – nett 79).

Gavin also had the best gross, 79. Andrew Kuyper had the best Stableford score on 37 points.
