Church bazaar offers all sorts of attractions

The annual event is not to be missed.

Margate NG Church’s popular annual bazaar at St Mike’s beach took place in fine weather last Saturday. As always, it was a celebration of food, fun and entertainment for the whole family. It had all sorts of attractions.

The bazaar featured an abundance of traditional meats, cakes, lots of tasty food takeaways, interesting hand-made items in the craft market, a white elephant stall and plenty of activities that kept the children happy.

Hundreds of shoppers browsed through the household, religious and novelty items, along with a book sale on one side of the marquee.

One shopper said that it felt more like Christmas in July and made her want to spend even more money buying gifts that day.

“I like everything about the bazaar, because the variety of items is excellent and affordable,” she said. Another local who visits this bazaar every year said that it had become an event not to be missed.
