Give a Child a Family welcomes tyre donation

GCF’s vehicle was fitted with a set of brand new tyres at the Super Tyres Durban branch.

A local non-profit organisation is delighted by a recent tyre donation from Super Tyres.

Give a Child a Family (GCF) provide a place of safety for orphaned and vulnerable children until they are reunited with family, extended family or are placed in foster care.

They accommodate 60 children from birth to 12 at any given time and ensure that their basic rights are catered to, including the right to education, health, shelter and food.

GCF approached Super Tyres requesting a donation of tyres for their Quantum as the tread was in a terrible state. “Our Quantum is used to take children to school, clinics, park visits and any other places that they need to go. We also use this vehicle to provide training to communities and other NPOs on coping with death and trauma, protective behaviour, parenting skills and home safety – so it was of utmost importance to get the tyres replaced,” explains Chris Louw.

GCF’s vehicle was fitted with a set of brand new tyres at the Super Tyres Durban branch. “We are pleased to have assisted Give a Child a Family and commend Chris and his team for the wonderful work they do in the community,” said Dean Horn – Super Tyres Managing Director.

“Thanks again to the Super Tyres Team for the generous tyre donation and great service. Thanks to their kindness we can continue to safely transport the children in our care,” concluded Chris.
