Michael Muller, manager of the LSC SPCA said the society is in desperate need of a one-ton truck for outreach projects, which are mainly based in rural inland areas.
“We are short of one vehicle and this is currently a setback for us as a new inspector, Jacob Maduna, has recently joined us and will focus on outreach projects.”
The jam-packed day will include fun activities for the whole family, with water slides, jumping castles and lots of games for the children.

There will also be great prizes up for grabs.
Master of ceremonies, local singer Winston Smile, will provide live entertainment.
All businesses are encouraged to enter and challenge other businesses to the title.
Competition fee is R100 per family or R300 per company. Doors open at 6am for potjiekos makers.
Judging will take place at midday, and potjiekos will be sold for R25 a plate.
Free entry to visitors.
