Curro Creston supports local charity

Senior primary honoured Madiba on Mandela Day by making sandwiches for the Bread of Heaven organisation.

Curro Creston College’s senior primary classes decided to honour Madiba on Mandela Day by making sandwiches for the Bread of Heaven organisation.

Pupils brought bread and sandwich toppings to school and spent a busy, fun morning making and packaging sandwiches.

The sandwiches were given to less-privileged schools and sadly it is sometimes the only meal these children have to look forward to.

Drama pupils have been hard at rehearsal for the stage production ‘Jamie and the Gigantic Peach’ which runs until tomorrow, July 26.
