The district round of the spelling bee was held at the offices of the Department of Education in Port Shepstone last Thursday.
Nine schools competed and although there was stiff competition, PSSP gr 6 pupil Ethan Naicker placed sixth overall. He is commended for his hard work and effort preparing for this challenging competition.

Detective Sergeant Rendye Naidoo of SAPS Port Shepstone was guest speaker at junior assembly last Friday. She delivered a very interactive, inspiring message for Women’s Day.
The heats to finalise teams for the inter-house athletics event scheduled for August 21 commenced last week.
