A MAN believed to be a taxi boss was gunned down near Umkomaas on Friday last week.
Reports received indicate that the man, identified as Ritesh Harihar, was shot and killed while driving along Calendula Avenue, Craigieburn.

Mr Harihar (35) was well known in the Umkomaas area for operating a number of taxis.
Police have not confirmed whether the motive for the shooting was related to his business.
“The 35-year-old taxi operator was shot dead by the occupants of another moving vehicle,” said provincial Saps communications officer, Lieutenant-Colonel Thulani Zwane.
People in the area at the time report having heard up to 10 shots being fired.
Umkomaas police are investigating.
