
A 74 year old man had a close shave with robbers in his Uvongo home on Monday morning this week.
Police spokesman, Sergeant Sibu Ncane said the man was home alone when, at about 9am, when he heard a strange noise in the kitchen at about 9am.

“He saw two men who were already inside the house. They ordered him to keep quiet and demanded a firearm, laptop and money. He told them that he doesn’t have those items,” said Capt Ncane.
The robbers fled taking his cellphone and left the man tied to a chair with shoe laces. No arrests have been made.
