Izotsha Primary’s senior soccer boys and girls pitted their skills against Creston College last week.
The girls’ team dominated from the outset and were victorious on home turf with Chloe van der Waal scoring a goal in the second half.

The boys had a tough match, losing 3-2. Player Mandange Nako scored both goals.
Both teams thoroughly enjoyed their first match of the season.
Intermediate and senior phase pupils enjoyed a week of inter-house athletics.
The long distance and field events were held last Tuesday and the 800m, 100m, 150m, 200m and relay events were held last Friday.
Arabella Lewis and Luke van Niekerk (U10), Alex Labuschagne and Ben Doveton (U11), Chloe van der Waal and Wasanga Dinga (U12) and Melissa Bense and Cade van Tonder (U13) were age-group winners.
Leopard house won and were also awarded the spirit trophy for their genuine vibe, good cheer and enthusiasm.
Panther placed second and Jaguar, third.
