FIVE suspects have been arrested for murder after the body of an Umzinto man was found in a sugarcane plantation at Malangeni.
The men were found receiving medical attention at a local hospital.

“The 35-year-old victim was found with multiple stab wounds to his body and was holding an Okapi knife,” said provincial Saps communications officer, Captain Nqobile Gwala.
“Police officers from the Umzinto Task Team made the arrests. Two of the men had knives in their possession., and one is currently under police guard in hospital.
“They are expected to appear in the Umzinto Magistrate’s Court soon.”
