Thirty Port Shepstone Secondary pupils from grades 10 to 12 recently entered the 2019 De Beers English Olympiad.
The Olympiad was based on the anthology ‘A Twist in the Tale’, a collection of South African short stories.

Ethan Hammond (gr 11) took gold for his exceptional results and several pupils received bronze and merit certificates.
The school congratulates them for their sterling efforts.
Pupils can apply to write the De Beers English Olympiad 2020, the closing date is October 11, 2019.
