A HOUSE in Freeland Park was broken into last Wednesday afternoon, August 28.
A woman was in her bedroom when she heard loud banging noises coming from the sitting room.

“Just as she activated the panic alarm, she was confronted by an intruder who was carrying a crowbar. He demanded that she deactivate the alarm,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Adam Francis.
The woman said she then saw three other men run out of the house.
The intruder fled with a cell phone.
The woman was not harmed.
It was later discovered the men had gained entry into the house by breaking the sitting room door.
The investigating officer is Detective Constable Weidon Govender.
