HARD drugs to the value of some R9 300 were seized on Higginson Highway during an intelligence-driven operation last Sunday, September 8.
According to police, officers from the Provincial Drug and Firearm Unit pulled over and searched a vehicle reported to be transporting drugs from Shallcross to Umzinto.

“During the search, officers seized 100 heroin capsules and 104 tablets of Mandrax,” said provincial communications officer, Lieutenant-Colonel Thulani Zwane.
A 22-year-old suspect was arrested and will appear in the Wentworth Magistrate’s Court.
