Scottburgh police are treated to lunch

Lieutenant-Colonel Linda Chiliza, commander of Visible Policing, thanked Janet Walker for the kind gesture.

SCOTTBURGH police officers were treated to lunch last week by a parishioner at St Paul’s Anglican Church.

In line with a recent sermon on sharing acts of love and care, Janet Walker suggested the lunch as a way thanking the officers for their hard work and commitment to serving the community.

“My interactions with Scottburgh police have always been positive, so I wanted to do something for them in return,” she explained.

After lunch, Lieutenant-Colonel Linda Chiliza, commander of Visible Policing, thanked Mrs Walker for the kind gesture.
