A MAN was arrested in Scottburgh on Wednesday last week for dealing in drugs.
Scottburgh police were monitoring the market area next to the taxi rank when they noticed a man making suspicious transactions.

When the man was searched, he was found to be in possession of several capsules of heroin.
“He appeared in the Scottburgh Magistrate’s Court and will appear for bail application on September 18,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Adam Francis.
“Police have a zero tolerance approach to drugs and operations are continuing to eradicate them from our streets.
“We encourage the public to report such activities to their nearest police station or to Crime Stop on 086-0010111.”
