Cat killed by stray dog

Even those whose properties are fenced feel vulnerable as these strays and 'escapees' have been known to jump into yards and attack family pets.

The cat died from its injuries.

Some irresponsible people fail to adequately secure their properties, which allows their pets to escape and wander at will, sometimes in packs.

Even those whose properties are fenced feel vulnerable as these strays and ‘escapees’ have been known to jump into yards and attack family pets.

“A dog jumps into my property almost every day and there’s nothing I can do about it,” said one.

“My dog’s life is under threat. I have informed the dog’s owner about this, yet he does nothing. We hope that these irregularities will come to an end soon before something major happens, maybe even to a child.”
