#IAmStaying

South Africa is one of the few places in the world where fantasy still lives. |Though there are many aspects that have lost those senses of wonder, there are places yet that house that spirit that draws people in. It is this sense of wonder that makes South Africa special, it is unique, with animals that do not exist anywhere else in the world, the magic of seeing this creatures is a marvel that will not be witnessed elsewhere in the world. The magic of seeing a lion or a leopard can only be truly felt when seeing them in their natural environment. South Africa is a place where variety is promoted, it is the rainbow nation that promotes unity between people of all races and ethnic groups. it is a land that people should not leave. it is true that there are faults all around, but that is not exclusive to South Africa, even if you plan of leaving because of many different problems, there is a guarantee that you will experience them elsewhere in the world. that is why I am staying. this land is worth remaining in, there is nothing that you will experience in the world that will feel the same as what you experience in South Africa, as it is unique.

In order for anything to flourish, it either needs to be nurtured or encouraged. Be it plants or people, the more time and love you invest, the greater the rewards.

Having said that, with marriages too, the same would apply. Try telling your spouse how proud you are of them when they’ve achieved something, how tasty the meal is when they’ve cooked something, how beautiful they are when you see something that reminds you of why you chose them as life partners, how funny they are when they make you laugh or how fantastic they are when they brighten your day. The more encouragement you show them, the greater your chances at happiness are.

We all have faults. We’re human. But when you see that they’re trying their best to better themselves, instead of finding new faults for them to work on, tell them how proud you are of how far they’ve come and see how your concerns will be met. ..one after the other. Fault by fault would be rectified without having to fear major relapses. I understand that change needs to be done for the love of one’s Creator, but as a partner to that person, they become a part of you too.

The same would apply to employers and their subordinates. Acknowledge your employees’ efforts and sit back and enjoy the yeilds.

At the end, the more you love your job, the more effort you’d put in to make it a success.

As people, we fail dismally when it comes to this. We push…too much, too far. And the more we push, the more the other pulls away.

Let’s try this as a country. #imstaying
