Seniors celebrate their rich heritage

Seniors are living legacies as they hold the secret to our history and background and lay the foundation for our path in life.

The M² Community Association’s monthly meeting at the Marburg Library Activities room last Saturday provided the perfect opportunity for the younger generation to recommit themselves to the care of their elders.

Dinesh Pillay, chairman of the association said seniors are living legacies as they hold the secret to our history and background and lay the foundation for our path in life.

“This Heritage Month, my message is simple – let’s all pay tribute to our dear seniors,” he said.

The spritely seniors were treated to a multi-cultural meeting with captivating dances, songs, sketches and music.
