Seniors celebrate Palm Sunday

The service included a selection of beautiful music by the Mbango Melody Makers

MBANGO Valley was the venue for a great Palm Sunday service. We all know what Easter Sunday is, but what about Palm Sunday?

Musical: Barbara Bosman leads the Mbango Melody Makers.

Karin Lehmann of Mbango Valley said that Palm Sunday marks the moment when the Son of God entered Jerusalem in triumph riding on the back of a donkey while crowds, who would later call for him to be killed, paid homage to him.

Time well spent: Elfriede van der Walt spends her Sunday at Mbango Valley.

“Christians believe it was a week before his death and resurrection and the events of that day are recalled in special Palm Sunday services each year.”

Holy: Cyndy McMurtry takes part in worship.

A selection of beautiful music by the Mbango Melody Makers was enjoyed by the appreciative audience.
