Team work from our locals

Well done to all who were part of this clean up!

AS many of you may recollect, we recently had International Coastal Clean-up Day.

Many school pupils did their part to save our planet, despite the fact that it was during the holiday period.

One of the schools that participated in this initiative was Scottburgh High School.

A number of the school’s interact members and teachers headed down to Scottburgh beach to tidy it up. They were joined by the school’s ex-headmaster, employees from the beach’s All Sorts Shop, Gladiator Security Services, residents from Renishaw Hills as well as some concerned locals.

Our locals who helped tidy up Scottburgh beach are thanked for their great effort.

Well done to all who were part of this clean up!

“We are grateful to have each and everyone of the participants at these recent clean-ups, because by them sacrificing their time and working together, they were able to beautify our beaches once more,” said Nigel Eady of Ezemvelo KwaZulu-Natal Wildlife.

Some of the locals and pupils scout for trash in Scottburgh.

The school also thanks all who joined them on the day.
