New phase for medical pavilion

The centre caters for a wide range of medical needs.

SCOTTBURGH Medical Pavilion first opened its doors back in June 2015.

The support received since then meant the launch of Phase 2, which was completed in December 2016 and now, Phase 3 has just opened amid much fanfare.

The centre caters for a wide range of medical needs.

Phase 1 houses Nicole Redman (physiotherapist); Mark Steele (biokineticist); Welmi Odendaal (psychologist); Rekha Sugudhav (audiologist); BBraun Dialysis Unit; Lancet Laboratory; Bruce Turner (chiropractor); Danielle Turner (Scottburgh Diagnostic Clinic), with Robert O’Reilly doing ultra sounds.

Umdoni Municipality mayor,Thabani Dube, officially opens Phase 3 of the Scottburgh Medical Pavilion.

In Phase 2, you will find Daryl D’Arcy (dentist); Netcare specialist part time consulting rooms (urology and paediatrics); Christian Hendy (Garrun Insurance); Dr Avesh Jugadish Magan (orthopaedic surgeon) and The Coffee Lounge which is run by Gina Tedder and Kelly Smith.

Phase 3 welcomed UFITT gym; a full Ampath laboratory; the Scottburgh Family Clinic with Drs Bruce and Viyonne Longmore, together with consultant, Dr Minette McCabe; Dr Ranjan Pillay (dermatologist); Dr Pieter de Bruin (urologist); Dr Andre Attfield (specialist surgeon) and Dr Khatija Jagot (gynaecologist).

At the grand opening of Phase 3 earlier this month, tenants, trustees and their friends and family came out to celebrate this new milestone.

Special mention must be made of Paul and Gina Tedder, Nicole and Machiel Uys and Amy and Daryl D’Arcy, who made this possible.

Construction company P&G Construction can also take a bow – Phase 1 and 2 have already won excellence awards at the Master Builders awards.
