A TRUCK and trailer carrying a load of alcohol overturned on the N2 southbound at Park Rynie recently.
The accident is thought to have occurred when the truck driver (48) tried to avoid striking a pedestrian crossing the freeway.

The driver, his two passengers and the pedestrian were treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to GJ Crookes Hospital.
The truck’s load was looted, with whatever goods remained intact being taken away by bystanders.
