It’s all about unity
Women of all ages attended the camp called 'Faithful Under Fire'. It wasn't just all fun and games, but spiritually enlightening too.
NOTHING’S better than community members uniting together for a good cause.
On Sunday, November 17, a bystander noticed some men hard at work in the Scottburgh central business district filling potholes. When he approached them, he was told by one of the men that they were simply “giving back to the community”.

The men who filled more than 20 potholes did their fair share of repairing the road on Caroline Lane, Scottburgh and are thanked by members of the community for doing so.
Hats off to Salman and Bilal Basa of Kings Hardware in Scottburgh who came up with this initiative. It is so good to see people willing to help make a change in this little town.
Talking about potholes, there have been numerous complaints about one specific road, Lily Road. in the Umzinto central business district where there seem to be more potholes than actual road.
Not only is it an eyesore but it damages our cars.
In other news, Christ The King church in Umzinto held a weekend women’s camp in Pennington recently.

To the organisers of the Umzintovale Primary anniversary dinner and dance last Saturday evening, congratulations on a successful event and well done.
Once again, the support shown from the community at this event was phenomenal. Just shows that great things can be accomplished with unity.
