Sharp-tongued and witty comedian Muthu Murugan, also known as the ‘Indian King of Comedy’ will bring some Durban flavour to Port Shepstone. Whatever your taste in humour, you’re sure to find something to tickle your funny bone.
The Umzimkuluwana Shri Siva Soobramoniar Temple presents ‘East meets West’, by South Africa’s king of comedy, Muthu Murugan with entertainment by his band ‘music cooperation’ at the Port Shepstone Civic Centre this Saturday, November 23 at 6.30pm.

Sri Sathya Sai Baba
The 94th birthdate celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba will be observed this Saturday, November 23 by Sai devotees all over the world. The Sri Sathya Centre of Port Shepstone invites all to join them in celebrating the 94th advent of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba at the Port Shepstone Sai Centre, Venus Drive, Marburg at 4pm. The South Coast Chamber of Commerce and Industry invites all to its business breakfast at Kapenta Bay Hotel this Friday, November 22 at 8.30am. Cost is R75 for members and R100 for non-members. Guest speakers are Tshegang Chipeya, who will present the latest thinking and plans on the smart city concept and how the South Coast can benefit from it. The second speaker is Farai Moyo who will present the most recent data on the provincial economy, and the sectors in each district that have been identified as key in KwaZulu-Natal. Golf day
Pro Vision golf club will host the Manchester United and Liverpool annual golf day at the Port Shepstone Country Club this Sunday, November 24. It’s an open tournament, so all are welcome to play.
Family fun day
Child Welfare, South Africa Port Shepstone is holding a fund-raising family fun day at the St Martin de Porres school grounds on Saturday, November 30. Events include a 5km charity fun run, starting at 9am.
There will also be a car show, a strong man competition and a volleyball tournament. There will be food stalls and fun family activities.
