Sai devotees to observe birthdate celebration

Community to celebrate the 94th birthdate of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

The 94th birthdate celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba will be observed this Saturday, November 23 by Sai devotees all over the world.

The Sri Sathya Sai Centre of Port Shepstone will be celebrating this auspicious occasion at the Sai Centre, Venus Drive, in Marburg from 4pm. Supper will be served and all are welcome. For further information contact Sundeep at 073 5098575.

The Sri Sathya Sai Seva group based at Port Shepstone Secondary School invites all to the birthdate celebration of Sri Sathya Sai Baba at the school hall. A hawan will start at 2.45pm and bhajans from 3.30pm. He was to the newspaper industry born, his late father working at the South Coast Herald back in the days when black and white photographs were still being used. Sugan has been with Caxton for close to three decades, having started as a weekend photographer, straight out of school. He soon showed his skill in hard news reporting and has, over the years, added to his repertoire, with motoring now one of his important beats. He is always willing to go the extra mile, especially if it's to test drive a new vehicle. He supports the Proteas, Springboks and Manchester United.
