Tweni Talk: Roads deteriorate further with heavy rains
After destructive storms in April initially damaged South Coast roads, recent rains have made the situation much worse.
According to the many weather reports that flew around last week, it was almost an anti-climax that the South Coast did not wash away into the sea. The state of damaged roads did however worsen and in Mdoni Road outside Hilton and Bondi Horsley’s house in Umtentweni, a very deep sink hole has developed.

The old saying that if you see a car driving erratically, the driver is probably drunk. Well in Tweni and surrounding areas, if you see a vehicle driving in a straight line the driver is probably too drunk to avoid potholes. The danger is real folks.
Stay vigilant
Don’t think that crime only happens at night. While everyone was out at work last Monday morning, a house in Raspberry Lane was broken into. Don’t forget to set your alarms even if you are simply popping down to the shops or out to visit a friend.
