Sheppie Snippets: Dinner dance is not to be missed
Look forward to a night of bhangra, classics and chutney music.
The Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Sabha Mandir in partnership with SA Promotions presents a New Year’s Eve dinner and dance, with live entertainment by Abdul Rahim Rassool, Khilona Sounds and Nagara Entertainers from Durban.
Look forward to a night of bhangra, classics and chutney music at the Marburg Secondary school hall on Saturday, December 28 at 6pm.
The dress code is smart casual.
The event is a fundraiser for the Mandir.
Tickets, at R180 per person, will be on sale at Sheppie Green Grocers, Window Scene and Anoop’s Studio, as well as from members of the Mandir.

Herald office closed
The South Coast Herald offices will be closed on December 25, 26 and 27, and our Christian readers are wished a very merry Christmas.
Farewell
After 22 years at the Herald, this is the last neighbourhood news to be penned by scribe Sugan Naidoo, who leaves to pursue a new career.
“Thanks to everyone for supplying their snippets of news for all those years and for keeping to the deadline.
“It has been a privilege working at the South Coast Herald. I have amassed a treasure trove of memories, from the exhilarating to the scary, and everything in between!” he said
Neighbourhood news resumes with a new scribe on January 8.
