Woman found dead in Albersville

A woman was found dead in Albersville this morning (Monday), on the pathway below Port Shepstone Secondary.

She was found by a passerby who then alerted authorities.

According to police spokesman Captain Petros Mpinge, the woman is believed to be between 25 and 30 years of age.

She was carrying no identification, he said.

“A post mortem examination will be conducted to establish the cause of death.”

SAPS Port Shepstone have opened a murder case for investigation.
