Hobby Circle head moves on

DEBBIE Sharples, who has headed up the Scottburgh Hobby Circle for the past 15 years, and her husband, Steve, are emigrating to England.

This is is a blow for the Circle and its members, some 35 women who gather every Tuesday to sew, knit, crochet, paint, embroider and carve.

Founding member, Louisa Watt said the club would be sorry to lose Debbie, who had proved a wonderful leader.

“We wish the Sharples well as they begin their new journey abroad,” she said.
