Mamba nabbed in Gamalakhe

Snake catcher Sarel van der Merwe nabbed a large black mamba in a Gamalakhe home last Sunday.

Bonginkosi Siwela said he was sitting on the bed when the mamba slid into the house, and carried on straight past him.

“Sarel arrived quickly and was very helpful.”

After searching the high and low for about a hour, Sarel finally spotted the snake.

In the last place I looked, I saw its head pop out, giving me such a fight,” said Sarel.

Sarel quickly caught the snake and left behind a happy community.

Also, keep a close eye on it, and monitor its movements to make it a little easier for Sarel to find it when he arrives.
