Covid-19 funding feedback from business community urgently required

Business associations have been mandated by the Ugu District Covid-19 joint organising committee (JOC) to give feedback in terms of assistance received, or not received, with regard to the various applications they have made for funding and other types of Covid-19 support.

On the South Coast these associations include the Margate Business Association, South Coast Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Port Shepstone Business Association and Ugu Business Association.

“It is vital that this is established as the municipality is concerned with assisting the community with these challenges,” said Jo-Anne Wentzel, chairman of the MBA.

Business owners are asked to complete the attached questionnaire, irrespective of being an MBA member or not.

Send it to Mrs Wentzel, by Monday, May 18 at 10am.

This will allow for enough time to compile the information for feedback.

“Legislation is changing almost daily, and we aim to assist everyone during this trying times,” said Mrs Wentzel.

On a side note, the MBA has 500 washable cloth masks, available at R10 each (supplied at cost), to assist the business community to be able to afford these items.
