UPDATE: 1 more death, 278 confirmed Covid-19 cases in Ugu District
The recovery rate remains at 48 in the district.
As of today, Wednesday, July 1, KwaZulu-Natal has 9 674 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.
Of these, 5 768 are active with 630 new cases confirmed today.
Some 136 people have died from the disease.
The recovery rate is 3 770.
The total number of screenings done is 7 211 334 and 122 378 tests have been conducted.
