Cyclist knocked off bicycle near Leisure Bay

A man was knocked off his bicycle while cycling on the R61 near Leisure Bay this morning.

Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to incident.

“When emergency services arrived they found that a cyclist had been knocked off his bicycle by a vehicle,” said spokesman Craig Botha.

He said paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that the cyclist was in a critical condition.

The man was stabilised on scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment.
