Essential services remain in place even if police stations close for Covid-19 decontamination

All essential services of the South African Police Service (Saps) remain in place even if a police station is closed for decontamination.

In a statement,  Saps said service delivery would in no way be compromised.

All employees  remain committed to their duty to serve the people of South Africa without interruption, read the statement.

Police are also available through Crime Stop at 08600 10111 (24/7 crime tip-off line) and SAPS Emergency line at 10111.
