UPDATE: Confirmed Covid-19 cases climb to 1005 in Ugu District

The recovery rate in the district stands at 195.

As of today, Wednesday, July 15,  KwaZulu-Natal has 30 587 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 21 282 are active with 3 202 new cases confirmed today.

Some 337 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 8 968.

The total number of screenings done is  8,414,453 and 158,825 tests have been conducted.
