Vote Port Edward to victory as the Kwêla Dorp van die Jaar

As an added incentive, the Port Edward Banners Rest Ratepayers' Association is running a competition whereby those who vote for Port Edward stand a chance to win R5 000.

Get your votes in to help Port Edward win the kykNET Kwêla Dorp van die Jaar title.

The town is the provincial finalist in the competition.

You are encouraged to vote for Port Edward to win the title and R1-million worth of free advertising on kykNET.

Simply SMS ‘Port Edward’ to 33157 during the final voting period which runs from this Sunday, August 9 at 6pm until Friday, August 14 at midday.

30 SMSes per number are permitted, at a cost of R1.50 per SMS.

As an added incentive, the Port Edward Banners Rest Ratepayers’ Association is running a competition whereby those who vote for Port Edward stand a chance to win R5 000.

Every 10 votes for Port Edward counts as one entry to the association’s competition – so one cellphone number qualifies for three entries.

“It is so wonderful to see one of the KZN South Coast’s towns receiving such deserved recognition,” said CEO of Ugu South Coast Tourism (USCT), Phelisa Mangcu.

The winning town will be announced on Kwêla on Sunday, August 30.
