UPDATE: Confirmed Covid-19 cases stand at 4 889 in Ugu District

|Some 4 074 people have recovered from the virus in the district.

As of Friday, September 25, KwaZulu-Natal has 118 350 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 6 740 are active with 175 new cases confirmed today.

Some 2 617 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 108 993.

The total number of people screened is 14 188 001 and the total tests conducted are 276 925.
