High spirits reign at Griffen Dore Primary’s sports day
Dolphin House emerged victorious and proudly took home the trophy.
Griffen Dore Primary School recently hosted its exciting annual sports day, bringing together learners, educators and supporters for a day filled with fun, competition and spirit.
The event featured two enthusiastic houses, Sharks and Dolphins, who competed against each other in a variety of sporting activities.
Learners displayed excellent teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the day, cheering proudly for their houses and encouraging their teammates.
After an exciting day of competition, Dolphin House emerged victorious and proudly took home the trophy. Congratulations to the Dolphins for their outstanding achievement, and well done to all learners for participating.
The school also recently hosted an exciting and inspiring Career Day for its Grade 7 learners, with deputy principal Shikar Ramsunder Bechoo co-ordinating the event.
The event provided learners with an opportunity to explore different career paths and understand the importance of making informed choices about their future.
The school welcomed Adrian Daniel from the Child Protection Unit, who spoke to learners about the importance of careers, dedication and serving the community.
Learners enthusiastically participated by dressing up as professionals and delivering presentations on their chosen careers. The day was both educational and enjoyable, encouraging learners to dream big, work hard and aim high.
